Open License Media re-engineering is set to release on December 6, 2007.
Microsoft has developed an on-line media purchasing option for Open License customers in addition to the download of licensed products available under volume license entitlements.
Beginning December 6, 2007 Open License customers who register for eOpen will have access to the Microsoft Volume License Service Centre (VLSC) where they can choose either ‘free’ product downloads and/or purchase open license media against their license entitlements.

Ensure that the Open License Resellers and end customers are aware of current ‘free’ download option and the future open license media purchase option on the end customer portal (eOpen/VLSC).

Ensure that The Open License Resellers and end customers are aware that future open license media purchase will only be available on-line via the end customer portal (eOpen/VLSC) and no longer support through Distributors.
